This post is a plug for one of my favorite places to eat in Salt Lake City. If you've never been to La-Cai Noodle House, give it a try. You will not be disappointed! Both food & service are outstanding! Everyone in our family has their own "favorite" dish that is ordered time & time again. Mine is General Tso's Chicken. (Although last time I got Chicken lo mein)
Before you enter the dining room, there is a huge bowl of fortune cookies. We all grab a handful and munch fortune cookies while we wait for our food.
We made a trip to SLC last Saturday nite. La-Cai was where Emilie and Curtis wanted to eat, so that is where we ended up. This was my first fortune of the night:

Oh, this is funny. We 'discovered' this place last Saturday!! We had run up to SLC for some errands, and I was in the mood for Pho.
So, we used Yelp on my phone, looked for a Pho place somewhere not 'in-the-hood', and settled on La-Cai. Looked a bit like a dump on the outside, nice on the inside. And the food was AWESOME!
I'm the only one who went with the Pho in the end, but everybody (Jenny, Madeline, Myself, Claire) loved it. We'll be back!

Didn't I give you one of their business cards several months ago? I remember we had just been there, and I had a card out in my car. I don't remember what we were talking about, but I went and got the card out of my car and gave it to you.
Anyway, did you have any appetizers? We always have some eggrolls, & pot stickers. Sometimes the lettuce wraps.
Yes, you gave me their card once. I had totally forgotten that last Saturday.
We had shrimp spring rolls. I prefer them over deep fried ones.
