DAM!

My family can tell some dam good stories of that day in June, 1976!
TetonDam-BOR
Caption read: If we listened to warnings from every environmentalist dingbat, we'd never get anything built.

The next two comics hail from 1977:

Slime
Remember when SLIME first hit the stores? It was the coolest stuff ever!

May-the-force
The cliche' "May the Force be with you" from Star Wars, became part of everyone's vocabulary.

If my ipod were to have a problem, this would probably be why:
soft-rock

I've read the following comic many, many times. It still cracks me up:
careening

I remember the Slime. It had a very particular smell to it. The stuff they sell now does not smell the same as the stuff they used to sell.

And it used to come in those really big plastic tubs. I remember a variety that had eyeballs in it.

Every once in a while I catch a whiff of something that smells like the old stuff did—and the memories of sitting at Grandma's in the kitchen flood back. Odd huh?

Richard - I thought I had a picture of you with "slime" dripping down your face, - taken when you were very young. I looked, but can't find it. Maybe it is a picture grandma has...
