Sky High Biscuits

Last summer when we were in Ohio - we went to this store called "Lehman's". Randy told us about it and said it was a fun place to go to, and that dad would enjoy it.  We got there at the end of the day - about 45 minutes before the place closed, so we really had to rush to see it. It is room after room full of everything that you could possibly want to furnish your home if you were Amish. Things you won't find at your local Ace Hardware store.

Hand crank Bosch mixer!

I bought this cool little wooden biscuit cutter there. It sits up on top of my oven, along with my Ulu knife that I bought it Alaska. Last week I got a great recipe, called: "Sky High Biscuits" (at a Macey's class, of course). The other morning I got up and made the biscuits & used my Lehman's biscuit cutter. This is a terrific recipe, so I am sharing it.

I love home made biscuits. Richard is the biscuit maker in our family, up until now he's been making the Betty Crocker recipe but I'm going to reccomend he switch to this one!

Grandma Ashcraft told me about this recipe so I thought I would log on and check it out myself. I will let you know how the family likes them after I make them.
